OOI ENG KOOI (STEVEN OOI)
Group Chief Executive Officer

MR STEVEN OOI is the CEO and co-founder of Jaya Sarana Group of Companies.  He started out his career at M’calister & Co. Ltd. during the early 70s and he subsequently left to start Hart Engineering Sdn Bhd where he was a Director until 1978.  He has over 40 years of working experience in the Fire & Safety Industries.  He is very active in the local and international fire protection industry and holds numerous positions in various non-governmental organisations related to fire protection.  Due to his long time contribution to the Malaysia Fire industry, he was awarded the highest civilian award “Pingat Ketua Pengarah BOMBA” in 2005 by the Fire and Rescue Department Malaysia (FRMD).  He has also held the following positions: 


OOI KEAN LEE (KEN OOI)
Executive Director

MR KEN OOI was appointed Executive Director of the Jaya Sarana Group of Companies in 2013.   He is also a Director to various subsidiaries of the group.  Mr Ooi graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, major in Communications and Electronics from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia.  He joined the family business after graduation and has over 15 years of experience in the fire safety and protection industry and has been involved in the management of the business since 2007.  He has also held the following positions:

Holding both a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Technical College, Kuala Lumpur, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Brighton Polytechnic, UK, he has many years of experience working with Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) and the National Livestock Development Authority (NLDA) before starting his own consultancy practice in mechanical engineering.
